It begins almost imperceivably, like the dense air that gathers before something breaks. Movement slows down, forms hesitate, as if waiting to understand themselves anew.
Bodies appear only as traces – gestures that have left their imprint and now remain fixed. Time does not advance but continues as repetitions of the present again and again.
Veils and skins drape the space – structures that recall the body. Facing them redirects perception inward, toward the space where we inhabit ourselves; where the pressures of the world gather and are held by the body’s limits.
Inside this interval, things begin to compose from within. Fragments accumulate until inner and outer matter are inseparable – shell-like forms that grow from their own interior.
From here, the boundary between inside and outside grows uncertain. The contained is already the exo.

Intermittent Fasting is an experimental jam project based in Rotterdam blending art-pop, noise, intuitive 808’s, shoegaze, lovesongs, and psychedelic rock. Their performances are an explorative process of creating within the fluid frame of an open, IRL situation.
